1. Introduction
Yosubi, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Yosubi ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have when you:
- visit our website at yosubi.com (the "Site");
- use the Yosubi app as a property manager, owner, tenant, vendor or contractor (the "App");
- sign up for our email updates; or
- opt in to receive text messages (SMS) from us.
The Site, the App and our messages are together the "Services."
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us.
- Account and onboarding information, such as your name, company name, address, email address and phone number.
- Vendor and contractor credentials, such as license and insurance information, which we check before you can take on jobs.
- Properties and requests, such as property and unit details, and the maintenance requests you submit, including descriptions of the problem and your answers to our assistant's questions.
- Photos and videos you upload, for example of a problem or of completed work.
- Job and payment information, such as scopes of work, prices, schedules, approvals and payment status. Payments and payouts are handled by Stripe and our bank, Commerce One Bank. They collect and store card and bank account details. Yosubi does not store them.
- Communications: messages you exchange with us, with our assistant, or with other users through the Services, including by WhatsApp, text message and email.
- Your email address, when you sign up for email updates.
- Your mobile phone number, name (if provided) and communication preferences, when you opt in to text messages.
Information collected automatically on the Site. When you visit the Site, we and the service providers listed in Section 4 may collect:
- pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, and the time and date of your visit;
- the website, ad or campaign that brought you to the Site, including campaign tags (such as
utm_source) and ad click identifiers; - browser type, device type, operating system and language;
- an approximate location derived from your IP address; and
- identifiers stored in cookies and similar technologies.
Message interaction data. We may record whether our emails and text messages are delivered, opened or clicked, and any replies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- operate, secure and improve the Site and the App;
- create and manage your account, and check vendor and contractor licenses and insurance;
- triage maintenance requests, scope and price work, match jobs with vendors and contractors, and schedule visits;
- compare completed work with the original request, and process approvals and payments;
- send you notifications about requests and jobs;
- send the email updates and text messages you asked for;
- respond to inquiries and support requests;
- understand how visitors use the Site and which channels bring property managers and vendors to Yosubi;
- measure and improve our advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited the Site; and
- comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (small files and browser storage). We group them into three categories:
- Necessary. These keep the Site working and remember your privacy choices. They are always on. We also count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you.
- Analytics. PostHog and Google Analytics help us see which pages are useful and where visitors get stuck.
- Advertising. Google Ads, the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag tell us when someone who saw or clicked one of our ads visits the Site or starts signing up. They also let these companies show our ads to people who have visited the Site. These companies may combine this information with other information they hold, under their own privacy policies.
Embedded video. Our demo video plays from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and loads only when you press play. Once it plays, YouTube's privacy policy applies.
Connecting the Site to the app. When you choose to sign up or log in, we pass the campaign details that brought you to the Site to the Yosubi app, so we can tell which campaigns lead to new accounts. Ad click identifiers are passed only if advertising is allowed. Analytics identifiers are passed only if analytics is allowed.
5. SMS Program Disclosure
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Yosubi:
- You consent to receive text messages at the phone number provided.

8. How We Share Information
We share information only as described in this policy:
- Other users, to get the work done. A tenant's request, contact details and photos are shared with the property manager or owner of that property. "Sale" or "sharing" under state law. Allowing advertising partners to collect information on the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws. Some of these laws, including Delaware's and, from May 1, 2027, Alabama's, also give residents the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We give every visitor this choice, wherever they live: you can opt out as described in Section 9. We do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 18, or use it for targeted advertising, as described in Section 13.
9. Your Choices
- Your Privacy Choices. Select Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page to turn analytics or advertising off for this browser. Your choice is stored in your browser, so set it again if you clear your browser data or use another device.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and advertising tools stay off in that browser.
- Browser settings. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some parts of the Site may not work as intended.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by emailing support@yosubi.com with "Privacy appeal" in the subject line. We will answer your appeal in writing within 60 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you can contact the Attorney General of the state where you live; in Delaware, the Delaware Department of Justice.
11. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including to provide our messaging services, maintain records of consent, and meet legal or regulatory requirements.
